Our smiley boy

Despite an infirm hand from his burn last week (which is much better now, thanks), Tae had lots of smiles this week:

Getting kisses from mom

Playing in the toy basket

Sitting on dad's lap

Jumping, jumping, jumping

Playing at the park

And having fun with Grandma Sharie who came to visit on Tuesday

Tae will have lots to smile about in the next couple weeks when family and friends are here for his baptism on November 1! Y'all are invited -- Sunday Nov. 1, 8:45am worship service, Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church. And you'll even get an extra hour of sleep the night before! Thanks for checking in on Tae!

  1. What a happy little tyke! You parents are doing something right. Is he getting over his phobia of having hats or hoods on his head? It´s sad that we can´t be with you all in CA next Sunday, but Michi and I will definitely be at his baptism in spirit (and in cyberspace).

p.s. J&M, don´t let Tae read this part, but...we bought him some animal (llama, of course) finger puppets on Isla Taquile in Lake Titicaca this morning. Delivery will have to wait until 2010.

  2. I can hardly wait to hold Tae again and enjoy his smiling face and giggle. These photos make it hard for me to be so far away. That will change on Thursday when I'll join Grandma S. and the Isensee crew for a wonderful and meaningful weekend.

Glad things are progressing well. That is so incredible. Can't imagine the future awaiting this kid. And, on behalf of the kid, have mercy with "The Birdie Song" . ;)
